聴くと心までもが踊り出しそうなタンゴ。その魅力は言葉にはできません。タンゴの名曲は数々ありますが、アルゼンチンのバイアブランカ出身でタンゴの紳士と呼ばれているCarlos di Sarli の名曲です。強いアクセントを生かしたタンゴらしい演奏を目指しました。
Tango rhythm appeals direct to your spirit and its power is beyond words. This piece is composed by Carlos di Sarli, dubbed the gentleman of tango, who was originally from Bahia Blanca in Argentina. The arrangement is planned to achieve the tango dancing beat with strong stresses.

不気味なウィルスによって苦しめられた方や、その家族、これに敢然と立ち向かっておられる方々、その他、心を痛め平安を求める全ての人々の為に捧げます。「---私達に試練をお与えにならないで、悪魔から救って下さい---」と祈る心をもっての演奏です。
We dedicate this performance to those who suffered from the ominous virus and their families, to those who are so brave to face it, and to all the people who are distressed and long for the safe lives. "Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil", so we pray and ring.

この曲は、癌との闘病の末に亡くなった、あるハンドベルリンガーに捧げられています。最期まで感謝の想いと美しい笑顔に満たされていたその人の自然な美しさは、周囲の人の心を打ちました。その信仰と前向きな生き方が、死をも克服したのだ、と心打たれた作曲者は、死を悼むよりは、むしろその人生を祝福されたものとして表現することで、音楽を力強い豊かなものにしています。慰めに満ちた演奏であってほしいと願いつつ-----。
This piece is dedicated to a handbell ringer who had passed away after a fierce struggle against cancer. To the last, she never forgot her beautiful smile and to be grateful, which deeply impressed the composer. He thought her faith and positive attitude finally made her triumph the death and composed this piece to bless her life rather than mourn her death. The music is reassuring and rich. Wishing our performance comfort to you all.

ある奇跡的な体験を通して神の恵みに目覚めたJohn Newton（イギリス人）による詞は、スコットランドやアイルランドなどからアメリカに渡った人達によって、いつの間にか歌い出されたと云われています。編曲するにあたり、ある賛美歌－私の罪を担い、苦しみ歩んで下さる主に全てを任せっきりで、自分は何もしないで生きていて良いのか？－を第二の旋律として、アメイジング・グレイスに寄り添う形としました。
This hymn words were written by John Newton, an English man whose amazing experience led him to his conversion, the words were set to the local melody sung by the settlers in the US from British Isles. This arrangement has another hymn melody interwoven, “Must Jesus Bear the Cross Alone, and all the world go free? No, there’s a cross for everyone, a cross for me.”

素晴らしい音楽は、文句無しに心に響くものです。人によって、また、その時々で、受け取り方は変わってきますが、豊かな感性をお持ちの皆さんの心の深いところに響いて欲しいと願っています。ドイツで長く歌い継がれてきた美しい詞とメロディーが深く心を打つ賛美歌で、Cathy Moklebust の、なお素晴らしい編曲が光っています。
Wonderful music echoes through one’s heart without doubt. It is different, from one to one, or time to time, how it does, we hope this music strikes the depth of your sensible hearts. This hymn with beautiful melody and words has long been sung in Germany and Cathy Moklebust’s arrangement is just the icing on the cake.
