2020年は、「神戸YMCAベルクワイアー」が1980年に神戸で最初のハンドベルグループとして誕生してから40周年となりました。
これまで、国内外を問わず、多くの方々に支えられ育てられて来たことを心から感謝しています。このAnniversary Yearには楽しい計画もありましたが、新型コロナ感染症の影響などのため、コンサート開催さえ断念せざるを得なくなりました。しかし、このことを現在の私達の音楽を多くの方々にお聴き頂けるチャンスだと考え、Web上で聴いて頂こうと考えました。簡易な録画によるものですが、このグループを、発足時から40年にわたって率いて来た、阿部 望の指揮で聴いて頂きましょう。

Kobe YMCA Bell-choir has been ringing forward through for 40 years since its beginning in 1980. And we are proud that there has been no backward during these years. Just this year, we cannot help being affected by the COVID-19 pandemic that forced us to give up the celebration as planned.
However we thought this could be another opportunity for our performance to be heard more widely. We can deliver our performance to you on the web site. Though the recordings were done by a smartphone and nothing special, we hope you enjoy listening our handbell ringing. The conductor is Nozomu Abe who has been directing this group for 40 years.
